Clash of Champions is a new mode in Lords of the Fallen

Clash of Champions in Lords of the Fallen (LotF) is a new mode by CI games and Hexworks. Clash of Champions presents the ultimate test of skill and stamina to those seeking it. With the addition of two previously unrevealed "boss rush" modes, "Echoes of Battle" and "Crucible," you can now choose to either face the opponents one after the other in one of the numerous taxing gauntlets or rerun boss encounters with opponents you've already defeated. You can play both modes in single-player or online cooperative multiplayer mode with another Lampbearer. Along with completely fixing the stutters that some players had with the "Master of Fate" update, today's release also brings other performance enhancements.

Did you really believe - ‘Master of Fate’ was the final chapter in your harrowing journey through Mournstead? Well, it’s time to relight the lantern, Crusader, for yet another adventure awaits…

What is the Clash of Champions in LotF?

This is a brand new update that throws down the gauntlet to those looking for the ultimate trial of skill and endurance. Featuring two previously unannounced ‘boss rush’ modes - ‘Echoes of Battle’ and ‘Crucible’ - you now have the option to replay boss battles with previously vanquished foes or confront them sequentially in one of several gruelling gauntlets. Both modes are playable either in single-player or with a fellow Lampbearer in online co-op multiplayer. Today’s update also includes further performance improvements in addition to fully resolving the stutters some players experienced following the ‘Master of Fate’ update.

Clash of Champions Additional Mechanics or Rewards

Accessible through the game’s Vestige checkpoint markers, the Boss Rush modes feature two distinct experiences for players: ‘Echoes of Battle’ and ‘Crucible’. While Echoes of Battle allows players to relive their favourite boss encounters, including Ellianne the Starved, Congregator of Flesh, and Radiant Sentinel, Crucible is a series of six increasingly challenging trials of pre-selected bosses that must be overcome without dying to unlock rewards, including Shrine Currency and exclusive new armour tincts.

Anyone have specific sets they use for bosses?
I have been using Sovereign Protector Set for a few runs of the game as it seems cover all bases.
Was wondering if certain sets might min-max bosses for crucible.

Actually really like the rewards for these because
A.) the social currency grind is extremely tedious because if you don't have friends online the only to get pilfered coins is to join up with randos and they only need help higher NG+ brick wall bosses, PvP is PvP your going to slap and get slapped, and it takes way to long to grind plucked eyes

B.) the boss challenges are really enjoyable to do back to back because the ending challenges (light, fire, darkness) all have a brick wall boss to raise the stakes depending on build.

C.) these aren't one-and-done deals either they have a three separate rewards for multiple completion runs.
