NPCs in Lords of the Fallen (LotF) are non-playable characters players encounter throughout their adventure. Players can interact with NPCs and receive Quests and Items. These NPCs can also provide information that helps players piece together the Lore of the game. Below you can find a full list of all the NPCs, their locations, and what they can offer you in Lords of the Fallen (LotF).
What types of NPCs are Available in Lords of the Fallen?
You will find multiple characters in LotF who are readily available to help you in your journey. NPCs in Lords of the Fallen will serve as a guide to get you settled in the game, there are also Merchants with whom players can trade for Equipment, Magic, and other Items or a Blacksmith whom you can ask services for, and those who provide quests to provide information that can help piece together a beautiful story.
Some NPCs are immediately available, while there are those that will need some help or will require players to finish quests or reach a certain progression before they become available to you.
Where Can I Find Merchants in Lords of the Fallen?
Many of the merchants are seen in The Hub or the Main Hall of the Skyrest Bridge. You will find a cluster of them within the area while there are others that are scattered in the two parallel realms: Axiom or Umbral realms. NPCs can't be accessible in both realms, they can only be present in one realm in LotF.
There are also Traveling Merchants that you can encounter in LotF, so you can expect that they will be moving places as well as increasing their inventories.
Interactions with NPCs in Lords of the Fallen
Players are able to interact with NPCs in a manner that will help them progress their characters such as upgrading their Items, Equipment, and even Stats. There are also others that will help you progress your story and will have an effect on the storylines of certain characters and ultimately, the Ending that you will be getting.
Aside from Merchants and a Blacksmith, there are also companion NPCs that can be summoned during Boss fights to aid you. For companions, there are certain requirements that need to be met and this varies per NPC. Companion NPCs are also available only when fighting Main/Colossal boss battles. This means that not all NPCs can be summoned and only one Companion NPC may be summoned at any given time.
Accepting Quests from NPCs in LotF
A common way of accepting quests from NPCs is by interacting with them. If you find an NPC, simply walk up to them and exhaust their dialogues. By doing so, you will know more about what troubles they might be facing so they can ask for your help. By doing favors for NPCs, players are able to earn valuable rewards. This will also help in boosting your character's stats or earn new Equipment and Weapons.

Andreas of Ebb
He is a descendant of the great ruler Antanas, also known as the legendary hero who defied Adyr and the Rhogar.
Byron
He is a weary man who tends to Vestiges and is a groundskeeper.
Bucketlord
They were once a prisoner in the Tower of Penance and managed to escape after finding hope in the 'bucket'.
Damarose the Marked
She is a follower of Adyr and wonders if you could serve a purpose in the return of Adyr.
Drustan
He is a man in search of his brother named Melchior. He dons a lamp on his waist and thinks that it's the genuine Umbral Lamp.
Eustace
He is a member of the Fidelis, a group led by Stomund who are fighting the possessed Hallowed Sentinels.
Exacter Dunmire
He was first seen during the cinematic after the Character Creation wherein he bestowed a boon upon the Main Character and challenged them to prove themself worthy of the gift.
Forlorn Hound
They were once a loyal companion to the Mistress of Hounds, but after her defeat, this hound will move to a closer location.
Gerlinde the Blacksmith
She is a Grouk woman accompanied by a creature she calls Sparky. You will first encounter her while she is imprisoned in the mines beneath the Pilgrim's Perch.
Iselle
She is essential in triggering one of the game's finale, the Inferno ending.
Judge Cleric
She is the weakened transformation of Judge Cleric, The Radiant Sentinel.
Kukajin
She is a companion type of NPC that can be beckoned to fight certain bosses.
Melchior
He is Drustan's brother who went missing while journeying in Mournstead.
Molhu
They are an Umbral High Priest that can only be interacted with inside the Hub while traversing through the Umbral Realm.
Nathaniel
He is a member of the Fidelis, a group led by Stomund who are fighting the possessed Hallowed Sentinels
Pieta
She was restored to life by Orius after you defeated her boss version, Pieta, She of Blessed Renewal.
Sparky
They are a creature knowledgeable in runesmithing that can be found together with Gerlinde, the Blacksmith who managed to enslave them.
Stomund, Captain of the Fidelis
He leads a group of good men and women who are fighting the possessed Hallowed Sentinels.
The Iron Wayfarer
He serves as a guide for anything Umbral-related and will give information regarding the use of temporary Vestiges in the Umbral Realm.
Thehk-Ihir
He is a faithful pilgrim who was rejected by the Hallowed Sentinels. He can be found on the scaffolding that leads to the Pilgrim's Perch and warns you of what lies ahead.
Tortured Prisoner
She is a companion that can be summoned to defeat certain Bosses.
Winterberry
She is a Merchant who plays a part in Byron's questline in search of Catrin's missing pendant.
