Byron's Shovel is a Axes in Lords of the Fallen (LotF). Byron's Shovel is a formidable melee weapon associated with the Attestant faction, making it ideal for those who prefer a Pure Strength build. Axes are Melee Weapons that require players to get up close and personal with Enemies, Bosses, or other players during PVP, to inflict damage. They may require certain stats in order to be wielded properly and can be found as loot, rewards, or crafting.

Where to Find Byron's Shovel in Lords of the Fallen
Byron's Shovel can be obtained from:
- Upper Calrath: This item is a reward for following Byron's Questline. After taking the Bell Lift from Cistern to reach Upper Calrath, Byron can be found near the Vestige of the Forgotten Guardian. If the player did not locate Winterberry and did not inform Byron of the pendant's location, he would move to Upper Calrath. Talk to him and rest at the nearest vestige. Byron will disappear in the game and leave Byron's Shovel. For more information and clarity we suggest checking Byron's Questline.
- Alternate: Winterberry sells this item if you complete the quest line "Find the Thief". Completing the quest will trigger Byron and Winterberry to move to Skyrest Bridge and add new wares (including this item) to the merchant's shop.

This is a rather confusing weapon on multiple levels... For starters, you can only get it at end of Byron's questline so about mid-way through the game progression-wise. Once you get your hands on it, you'll find that it has split physical and wither damage with a fantastic A Strength/B- Agility scaling at +10. But for it's runes, it has two Strength slots and one Inferno... With all of these factors in mind, build-wise you might have more luck as a pure Strength build over Quality despite it's scaling, but a Quality build wouldn't be terrible either.

It says this is lootable in the manse of the hallowed brothers but I can’t find it anywhere

is it not possible to get this once byron is by the elevator
The wiki says that he should disappear after talking to him but he has not done that for me, plus winterberry is a bloody pulp so i can't get the shovel from her.
