Fire Defense is a Stat in Lords of the Fallen (LotF). Fire Defense reduces the amount of Fire Damage received. Stats give out a lot of information about a character: strengths, weaknesses, possible Builds, or even available equipment. Players can increase Stats by spending points on them as they level up. 

Fire Defense Information in Lords of the Fallen

• Fire Defense is one of the four defensive stats alongside: Physical Defense, Holy Defense, and Wither Defense
• Fire Defense reduces the amount of fire damage received by the player from all sources. The higher the stat, the lower the amount of Fire Damage received.
• Not all Fire Damage comes from enemies, standing on fire or burning surfaces deals Fire Damage.

How to Increase Fire Defense in Lords of the Fallen?

• In order to increase Fire Defense in Lords of the Fallen, players have to spend Vigor at a Vestige or a Vestige Seedling when selecting the option "Upgrade Character". By selecting any Stat of the six available Main Stats when leveling up, players will at least receive a point in Fire Defense.
• Inferno is the Stat that grants the bigger benefit to Fire Defense, by granting 3 points per level improved.
• Certain pieces of equipment, specially Armor, can help players increase the total amount of Fire Defense they possess.
