Inferno is a Stat in Lords of the Fallen (LotF). Inferno is one of the two stats governing Mana, the other being Radiance. Stats give out a lot of information about a character: strengths, weaknesses, possible Builds, or even available equipment. Players can increase Stats by spending points on them as they level up.
Inferno Information in Lords of the Fallen
- Inferno is one of the six main stats.
- Inferno is used to cast some Spells and is a requirement for certain Equipment.
- Improving Inferno increases the amount of Mana players possess.
- Increases the attack power for Inferno-scaled Weapons.
- Inferno may also be required to unlock certain bits of hidden lore on equipment.
- Soft Caps at 50 and Hard Caps at 75
How to Increase Inferno in Lords of the Fallen?
- In order to increase Inferno in Lords of the Fallen, players have to spend Vigor at a Vestige or a Vestige Seedling when selecting the option "Upgrade Character"
Level Progression for Inferno in Lords of the Fallen
- Improving Inferno increases your Mana by 8 points. Note that there are diminishing returns upon leveling Inferno to 50 and 75.
- Improving Inferno by a point increases always increases all 4 defensive stats in the following manner:
- Physical: +1
- Fire: +3
- Holy: +1
- Wither: +1
- Every two points spent on any Stat, all resistances increase by +1. (Smite, Bleed, Burn, Ignite, Frostbite, Poison)
- This also applies if you spent one point in a Stat, and a second one on a different one. The second point will also grant this resistance benefit, regardless of the stats chosen to upgrade.

How much inferno is needed to unlock sets of lore? I am at 15 and not even the pilgrim stuff I'd unlocked yet.

really hope they add an ashes of ariandel-type dlc that can be accessed from the mid-game that gives us more inferno stuff. as it stands, most inferno items are locked behind the final ****ing area of the game.
