So I’ve been booing with this spell. Run up on them without target lock, aim at leg and 1 hit kill. They don’t even know what hit em

Use this with soulflay for free, massive damage. Soulflay will both keep them still and increase their hitbox size )both targets can be hit) so even smaller enemies will get destroyed.

Aim this with not lock-on at their legs and watch the big numbers .

Arguably the best Umbral Spell in the game. Latimer’s Javelin competes for range. But against larger enemies this trumps it by being able to shotgun them. It’s the Dark Bead of this game.

If you stand just at the right length in front of your locked on enemy you can shotgun them in a really tight spread right in front of them. Does MASSIVE damage if you hit with every eye.
I did around 2k damage per cast at 50rad/26inf and a +6 abyss charm on the poison boss before tower of penance and I can oneshot the big shield dudes and the great sword dudes with the pointy helmet.
Bit of a mixed bag. Yes, it can do an impressive amount of damage, provided very specific circumstances, but it's not viable for general use given its spread and how it passes through enemies - necessitating aiming at the feet. The explosion hitboxes also seem to be unreliable, sometimes just seeming to not damage enemies.
