Lords of the Fallen Full Skyrest Bridge Walkthrough

A Radiant Welcome from Pieta

Skyrest Bridge is reached by climbing up the long set of narrow stairs past the ladder to the right of The Iron Wayfarer at the end of the Abandoned Redcopse. At the top, you can head up to the right to find a Proselyte fighting some Rhogar Hounds. The former will be able to take care of the latter with no problem so you can wait if you want an easier time, or you can intervene and farm Vigor from all of them. If you keep heading up this way you'll find two Ammunition Pouches and two Small Manastone Clusters on a corpse by a gate blocked off by steel bars. To its left will be some double doors that won't open from this side.

abandoned redcopse9 locations world information lords of the fallen wiki guide

Head back to proceed the other way this time. As you go, you can find some Minor Fire Salts on the lava to your right, along the molten body of the dead giant. You can very quickly get it and get out of the lava so it doesn't fully build up into a Burn Status Effect too much. You'll continue to find some left and right on the different spots of lava as you move forward. When you're ready, head to the open area in front of a large structure with a large gate to begin a Boss fight against Pieta, She of the Blessed Renewal. If you fail the fight and die at least once, you'll be able to interact with the cluster of moths to the left of the entrance to the battlefield, to request assistance from The Iron Wayfarer.

Pieta, She of the Blessed Renewal can be a pretty overwhelming opponent clad in bloodied armor, wielding a long sword empowered with Holy energy. When the fighting starts, you'll want to roll through her initial sword attacks to gain a better position and unleash your own combos. Requesting the aid of The Iron Wayfarer goes a long way for this fight as she'll have someone else to point her aggression toward. When she keeps her distance, prepare to counter as she approaches, dodging toward her and waiting for her attack animation to finish before launching your own strikes. If you can, take advantage of the brief pauses in her larger, slower attacks to attack from behind. Getting hit by her attacks results in the buildup of the Smite Status Effect.

pieta1 abandoned redcopse locations world information lords of the fallen wiki guidepieta2 abandoned redcopse locations world information lords of the fallen wiki guide

At around sixty to seventy percent health, she'll start her second phase. She'll stab her sword into the ground and then sprout beautiful red wings. In this state, Pieta, She of the Blessed Renewal has even stronger and faster attacks, with a new set of attacks that goes along with her new wings. Nevertheless, you'll just have to continue being mindful of your positioning. This will be especially true for her attacks that cover a large area. Exploit her more vulnerable moments during her slower attacks, and stay close following her melee attacks to gradually chip away at her health until you finally defeat her.

When you do, she'll be revived by a yet unknown power and then she'll give you a glance before swooping down off of the battlefield. You'll be rewarded with a Vestige Seed and eight Umbral Scourings for the hard-won fight. There'll be an Umbral Flowerbed you can activate a Vestige Seedling onto if you want to nearby. Ahead of you, in front of the large gate, you can transition to Umbral and Soulflay the Stigma to get a glimpse of Pieta's words before casting a Radiant healing spell. You'll get two more Umbral Scourings and the Remembrance of Pieta, She of Blessed Renewal for listening to the Stigma.

Head to the doorway to the left of the large gate and head up the spiral staircase to find a chest containing the Sanctify Spell. Head back down the spiral staircase and climb all the way to the lowest floor to exit the Abandoned Redcopse and enter the main lobby of the Skyrest Bridge. This area serves as an NPC hub - home to different NPCs that will help the lampbearer throughout their journey by giving access to various upgrades, and various shops that sell a variety of helpful Items and even Weapons and Magic Spells.

Exacter Dunmire

Down the stairs, you'll find large double doors behind you which cannot be opened from this side. Move forward opposite the doors, past the hall of coffins to reach Exacter Dunmire. He's the priestly-looking character who greets the player when they awaken at the Defiled Sepulchre and grants them the gift bestowed upon a lampbearer. He'll explain that his task, as given by the Church of Orian Radiance, is to make sure that the tyrant Adyr continues to be imprisoned, as well as to resolve the corruption known as the Rhogar blight that Mournstead has been afflicted with. This corruption is what has overtaken some of the Enemies you've faced thus far, like the Corrupted Penitent. Specifically, your task will be to cleanse the five Radiant Beacons in Mournstead with your Umbral Lamp. These beacons are what keep Adyr imprisoned but are on the verge of collapse due to the corruption.

dunmire skyrest bridge locations world information lords of the fallen wiki guide

Speaking to Exacter Dunmire twice to get all this information rewards you with the Dark Crusader's Challenge Gesture. Afterward, he will serve as a Merchant who sells a variety of Equipment, a few Consumable Items, and some Spells.

Pieta

Behind Exacter Dunmire is Pieta of the Hallowed Sentinels. She was the Boss that you'd just fought and defeated at the Abandoned Redcopse before making your way to the Skyrest Bridge. Pieta is a very important NPC because, as she explains when you talk to her, she helps you by either "manifesting your potential," or through her "healing blood."

pieta skyrest bridge locations world information lords of the fallen wiki guide

Talking to Pieta afterward gives you the option to upgrade your Sanguinarix, the Key Item that you use to heal as you explore and fight. By giving her Saintly Quintessences, you can upgrade your Sanguinarix, increasing the number of times you can use it before you have to recharge it, and the amount of health each charge recovers when used. Eventually, you'll also be able to avail of her services to respec your character's build, allowing you to reallocate points you've put into their different Stats.

Behind Pieta is the Vestige of Ethryg, the Skyrest Bridge's own Vestige.

Molhu

If you head past Pieta to the left, there'll be a doorway in front of you at the end of this main hall, and another one to your left on the wall across from Pieta. The doorway to the left leads to a room filled with moths, indicating that there's something of importance here in the Umbral. Transition to the Umbral here to find a large creature with multiple arms named Molhu. Molhu will give some insight regarding the Umbral Lamp when spoken to. Afterward, Molhu will serve as a Merchant who deals in wares on the more Umbral side of things, in the form of various Consumable Items, Upgrade Materials, Weapons, and Spells.

molhu skyrest bridge locations world information lords of the fallen wiki guide

Molhu will also help you socket Umbral Eyes into your Umbral Lamp, granting you certain additional Stats that are helpful when traversing the Umbral, dealing with obstacles that are Umbral in nature, and improving your Umbral Lamp's capabilities. By trading in Antediluvian Chisels, Molhu can also upgrade your Umbral Lamp, giving it additional Umbral Eye Sockets, more Soulflay Charges, and even increasing your overall Dread Resistance.

Shrine of the Putrid Mother

Past Molhu to the left is the Shrine of the Putrid Mother, also only accessible while transitioned in Umbral. Interacting with the shrine allows players to purchase Armour Tincts and various Equipment with Plucked Eyeballs, which they can gain by avenging fallen lampbearers through the game's online system.

shrine of the putrid mother skyrest bridge locations world information lords of the fallen wiki guide

Interacting with the Shrine of the Putrid Mother for the very first time rewards you with the Putrid Mother's Embrace Gesture.

Stomund, Captain of the Fidelis

To the right of Exacter Dunmire, Pieta, and the Vestige of Ethryg will be Stomund, Captain of the Fidelis. He'll have a bone to pick with you when you first talk to him as it seems like the Umbral Lamp was meant to fall to him should the previous Dark Crusader in charge of it die. Instead, the lamp, along with the task that comes with it, has fallen to you. The Fidelis is a group that was created to counter the corrupted Hallowed Sentinels. Just like Exacter Dunmire, Stomund will serve as a Merchant when you talk to him next, selling Equipment, more Consumable Items, a Key Item, and some Spells.

stomund skyrest bridge locations world information lords of the fallen wiki guide

Eustace and Nathaniel

Behind Stomund will be a short hall leading to a room with crates and barrels. Heading straight ahead leads to an upper area and some double doors which you'll need the Skyrest Bridge Key to open, while going down the stairs to the left leads to Eustace, one of the warriors of the Fidelis, under their captain Stomund. On a bench to his right, behind some more breakable objects is the Spell Aura of Tenacity.

nathaniel eustace skyrest bridge locations world information lords of the fallen wiki guide

Past Eustace will be Nathaniel who'll start off talking to you in the same tone as their captain. When you first visit the Skyrest Bridge, neither NPCs will have much else to offer you other than conversation.

Shrine of Orius

Right beside Nathaniel will be a statue of Orius with a multitude of candles and a chalice at the top, making a shrine for the deity. By interacting with it, the player is able to trade in Pilfered Coins for various Armour Tincts and Equipment. Pilfered Coins are gained by both calling upon and helping other lampbearers through the game's online system.

Andreas of Ebb

To the right of Stomund will be a path leading to an outside area of the Skyrest Bridge. Following the path down the stairs leads to Andreas of Ebb, enjoying a view of Mournstead. Andreas seems to be of noble lineage, with the blood of the legendary Antanas running through his veins, who was responsible for defeating the Rhogar and imprisoning the tyrant Adyr in the past. When you first meet him, Andreas won't really offer much to help you aside from offering to take over your duties as the bearer of the Umbral Lamp, which naturally your character will automatically refuse.

Thehk-Ihir

If you head past Andreas of Ebb and then up the ladder to a scaffolding, you'll come across a pilgrim by the name of Thehk-Ihir. It seems he's come from a faraway place called Perdam to serve Judge Cleric, but in their corrupted state, the Hallowed Sentinels aren't really welcoming of anyone. Keep talking to him to get a Stick Weapon

Exploring Skyrest Bridge

Move forward past Thehk-Ihir and then drop down to the wooden platform below where a Pilgrim will be waiting for you. An Avowed will come rushing at you as well as another Pilgrim who'll be chucking a throwable at you. After defeating them, head down to the lower platform where they came from and destroy the breakable objects. You should be able to find the Map of Pilgrim's Perch Ascent on a dead Avowed near the edge of the platform. Keep heading down the platforms past some more similar Enemies.

skyrest bridge1 locations world information lords of the fallen wiki guide

Eventually, you'll get to a much larger platform filled with more Avowed and Pilgrim Enemies. You'll also find some of them unarmed who'll be kneeling down when you first approach them. If you transition to Umbral here, you can get some Equipment you wouldn't be able to get otherwise. Head back up the stairs and then face the large wooden platform to allow yourself to carefully drop onto the wooden beam. Cross the beam onto a large clawed hand and continue across to another wooden beam. At the edge of the next beam will be a Reject's Blade. Head back across this beam and up along the path created by the clawed hand past a multitude of Enemies. Soulflay the Umbral Belly end of the path to get the Pale Eye Shield from the ground. Jump back to the previous wooden platforms to your right and then follow the path back down until you reach the Emergence Effigy and transition back to Axiom.

skyrest bridge2new locations world information lords of the fallen wiki guide

Once you're back, make your way down again to the much larger platform filled with Enemies. If you make an immediate left toward the edge, you'll find three Holy Wards under the breakable objects. Be careful of the Pilgrim that nimbly attacks you after you destroy the objects. Across will be some stairs guarded by a lot of unarmed Pilgrims. If you turn left from here and move forward across the platform, you'll face some more Enemies, find more Items, and explore more of the Skyrest Bridge before you progress. For now, though, you can also turn right to head up the stairs marked by a lot of blood to enter Pilgrim's Perch and activate a nearby checkpoint. Inside, there's a Stigma to watch where the moths are gathered if you want to Soulflay it already. Up the stairs to your right will be the Vestige of Chabui which you can activate and use as necessary.

When you're ready, head back out to the large platform and clear out the Enemies again if you want to, but ultimately head to the right to explore further and get some Items. Be careful of the Pilgrims that are above you on the scaffolding. Head up the wooden ladder further along to find two Ammunition Pouches and two Small Manastone Clusters on a dead Avowed, on the platform where a Pilgrim should have been throwing Radiant projectiles at you from. Head back down and then head further down another two ladders in front of you. If you head to the right you'll find a gate that's closed from this side for now, guarded by a Pilgrim.

skyrest bridge3 locations world information lords of the fallen wiki guide

Head to the left instead to find some hanging wooden platforms you'll have to traverse. As you cross the thin planks, be careful of the Pilgrim who'll ambush you from the left and push you off of the structure. Move forward, hopping onto the succeeding platforms. Jump from the next plank leading to a hanging platform over the cliff and then jump onto the stairs on the side of the building. At the edge of the stairs, you can pick up four Small Deralium Fragments from the dead Avowed. Climb up the ladder atop the stairs to find two Bleed Resistance Balms to your immediate left. Fight through the Enemies there to move forward.

skyrest bridge4 locations world information lords of the fallen wiki guide

Follow the path of the wooden structure past some more Enemies. Ahead of you should be the lever to operate the elevator beside it. If you circle around the elevator first to the right, you'll find the Bell Staff behind some breakable objects. Go back and pull the lever to have the elevator lower itself to you. Step on the elevated tile inside the elevator to ride it up. If you've been in Umbral, you can use the Emergence Effigy in front of the middle structure to exit back to Axiom if you want to. Behind the structure, on the pile of dead bodies, you can find an Icegrip Armour Tinct.

Head down the spiral stairs to the right into a narrower pathway. As you move forward you'll notice a broken bridge to your right and then an opening at the end of the path, on your left, leading to a door that you'll need the Skyrest Bridge Key to open. Across this opening will be an arcing bridge you can cross. As you do, you'll find a Stigma on a little terrace on your right, marked by the usual moths. Transitioning to Umbral and Soulflaying will give you a glimpse of someone hurting herself as an offering to Adyr. Doing so rewards you with the usual two Umbral Scourings.

skyrest bridge5 locations world information lords of the fallen wiki guide

At the end of the bridge will be an Emergence Effigy you can use to transition back out again to Axiom if you want to. To the right is a bridge that seems to lead to a dead end for now. Before you transition back to Axiom though, if you look under you to the left of the effigy you can see a lower area you can drop down to. Very carefully do so while hugging the edge of the path. Follow the path down here to find the Faithful Bludgeon. Turn around and head back to where you landed to Soulflay the target across the gap to bring out a bridge you can cross.

Before crossing the long narrow bridge to your left, head up the stairs first and climb the ladder at the end to a section filled with Umbral Eggs, guarded by a Womb of Despair. After defeating all the Enemies here, you can safely pick up the Crimson Rector Sword on the dead sentinel. Head back down now and then cross the long narrow bridge. In the middle, Soulflay the Umbral Belly to pick up the Skyrest Bridge Key it drops. Continue across to the other side to another Emergence Effigy you can use if you want to.

skyrest bridge6 locations world information lords of the fallen wiki guide

Here you can either go up the raised ground on your left to go back to the path with the broken bridge, or you can head up the stairs here to find the Crimson Rector Shield to match the sword and then open the gate with the Skyrest Bridge Key. Afterward, you can head up the stairs to a locked gate. You can use the Umbral Lamp to bypass this gate into an empty study. Continuing up the stairs on your right here will lead you back to the main lobby of Skyrest Bridge, to the far left of the Vestige of Ethryg, giving you a shortcut back.

The Tortured Prisoner

If you head up the raised ground back to the previous path, you can go back to the locked double doors and open them with the Skyrest Bridge Key. Inside, you'll find yourself in a hall filled with statues holding up lit braziers. As you follow the path, transition to Umbral to find a ladder to the left. Atop the ladder is an Umbral tumor blocking your way. If you look at the wall closely, there are three veins connecting to it bulging out along the wall, which means you'll need to find all three of them and Soulflay them to get rid of the obstacle. Follow the path to the circular structure at the end to find one of them. When you reach the circular structure, look above you to the left to find the target and Soulflay it. If you're having trouble aiming at it, you'll get another chance up the stairs. Circle around to the left of the structure to find a Faint Vigor Skull. Keep circling to find a chest containing the Descrier Guide Wrappings, Descrier Guide Leggings, Descrier Guide Garb, and the Descrier Guide Mask. The broken bench beside the chest has a Faint Vigor Skull, as well as the corpse past that. Once you've made a full circle, turn around to find a gate to the right of the structure that you can bypass while in Umbral, leading to a little room. Soulflay the Umbral Belly here to pick up the Princess' Sting.

skyrest bridge7 locations world information lords of the fallen wiki guide

When you're done looting, head up the spiral stairs to the left of the platform. If you couldn't Soulflay the target awhile ago, there's a gap here along the staircase that will allow you to jump on the ceiling of the circular structure and aim at the target better. At the top of the staircase, head directly across the stairs to find the Tortured Prisoner behind some bars. She won't be able to talk to use past some gibberish due to the torture device forcibly placed on her head. Head to the other side of the room to open the double doors there with the Skyrest Bridge Key. These are actually the double doors that were at the bottom of the stairs you entered the Skyrest Bridge with from the Abandoned Redcopse. This gives you another shortcut back to the main lobby and the Vestige of Ethryg.

tortured prisoner skyrest bridge locations world information lords of the fallen wiki guide

Head back along the ledge parallel to the Tortured Prisoner's prison and hold up your Umbral Lamp when you notice a few moths fluttering by a section of the wall. Enter the wall to find an Animated Vigor Skull and Faint Vigor Skull on two corpses. The path going up leads to another Faint Vigor Skull and the upper platforms of the scaffolding where Thehk-Ihir resides. If you drop down, to the right, you'll find a Short Javelin on some dead bodies. If you drop down another time, you'll land at the platform where Thehk-Ihir is. If you went down here, make your way back to the previous room with the Tortured Prisoner through the new shortcut you just opened. You can rest at the Vestige if you feel you've stayed in Umbral too long.

Head along the path to the opposite side to find a Stigma. Transition back to Umbral if you rested, and then Soulflay the Stigma to listen to the musings of the King of Mournstead taking on a minor noble named Sophesia, despite opposing views about it. You'll be rewarded with two more Umbral Scourings for doing so. When you're done, head back down the stairs to the circular structure. If you check the wall you'll notice one of the two remaining bulging veins connected to the Umbral tumor you want to get rid of leads below you. To get there, facing away from the circular structure you should find a platform to your immediate left as you step onto the path lined with statues.

skyrest bridge8 locations world information lords of the fallen wiki guide

Soulflay the target in front of you to move the platform toward you. Drop down and then turn around to find the target you need to Soulflay that leads back to the Umbral tumor you want to get rid of. Turn around again and Soulflay another target to bring you to the ladder on the other side. Climb back up to the hall and then climb the longer ladder back up to the Umbral tumor. The last target is actually right above you to the right, just in range for you to Soulflay if you step close to the end of the platform. Soulflay the Umbral Belly that the tumor was hiding and then pick up the Searing Accusation that gets dropped.

Head back up to the Tortured Prisoner and try to talk to her again. You'll get prompted here to hand over the Searing Accusation to her to presumably help her escape. She'll say some gibberish again and nothing seemingly happens. However, when you next rest at a Vestige and come back, you'll find the bars melted and the Tortured Prisoner gone. She'll leave behind the Tortured Prisoner's Head Cage for you to pick up. Should you fail at least once when fighting a colossal Boss, you'll now be able to request her help before your next attempt.

If you head back to the locked double doors at the end of the path behind Stomund, you can open them with the Skyrest Bridge Key for a shortcut leading to the chamber where you came across The Iron Wayfarer for the second time in the Abandoned Redcopse, leading up to the entrance of the Skyrest Bridge. At the top, right before the battlefield where you fought Pieta, She of the Blessed Renewal, you'll find the Tortured Prisoner with her newfound freedom. Unfortunately, she won't speak of much sense, although if you keep talking to her she will request that you bring her news about the family of the dead giant beside her. This rewards you with the Calrath Noble's Bow. She also now becomes a Merchant, selling various Items, Equipment, and Spells.

When you're ready to progress, head back to the main lobby of Skyrest Bridge and then use the Vestige of Ethryg to teleport to the Vestige of Chabui in the Pilgrim's Perch to continue your journey.

After Pilgrim's Perch

On your second visit to Skyrest Bridge, and after you defeat Gentle Gaverus, Mistress of Hounds at the end of Pilgrim's Perch, you'll come back to a couple of changes in Skyrest Bridge. First, you'll notice that Exacter Dunmire isn't in front of the Vestige of Ethryg anymore with Pieta and Stomund. Instead, if you head to the far left area of the hall, to the left facing the Vestige, and exit out of the doorway, you'll find some stairs leading down to the previously empty study where Exacter Dunmire has relocated. If you talk to him, he'll give out the additional task of submitting Items that illustrate the malpractices of the Hallowed Sentinels. He'll advise you not to share this mission with Pieta or Stomund, hence the move. To do this, choose the option to Talk to him when you interact with him and you'll be prompted to hand over any of the Items you have that fit what he's asking for. Specifically, you'll need to bring him the Bloody Aspergillum, Hallowed Sentinel Scripture, Book of Sin. You can also bring him Vanguard Barros' Rosary, and Ravager Gregory's Rosary to have his wares will expand, giving you more options to peruse. These Items are found in various Locations so make sure to check back with him after every time you finish exploring. After giving him all three Items, he'll then recount his experience with Harrower Dervla, the Pledged Knight, and will ask you to kill her and bring back the Item she stole.

As you've learned before, the closed gate you can see past him can be bypassed by transitioning to Umbral. It'll lead to the shortcut gate that was previously closed from this side, leading to the parts of Skyrest Bridge you previously explored.

skyrest bridge9 locations world information lords of the fallen wiki guide

If you go to Molhu in his room across from where Pieta is, you'll be prompted to give him the Bowl of Revelations you picked up from Pilgrim's Perch. Doing so will allow you to choose the option to "Offer Remembrance" when you talk to him. This allows you to trade Umbral Scourings in exchange for various Equipment and Spells that correspond to certain Bosses you've defeated, provided you have their corresponding Remembrance item. For now, you should have the Remembrance of Pieta, She of Blessed Renewal, allowing you to purchase her Weapon, Armor, and the Blessed Reflections Spell. Make sure to come back whenever you get another Remembrance item.

If you head back toward the Vestige of Ethryg, the doorway across Stomund now leads to the Grouk blacksmith Gerlinde and her assistant Sparky, if you've freed them from the prison deep in Pilgrim's Perch. When you talk to her she'll ask you to find some crystals onto which Sparky has inscribed valuable knowledge, which will greatly help Gerlinde with her craft. As a Merchant, she will have some Consumables for sale, a couple of Weapons, and a Shield. Every time you submit a magic tablet to her, she'll expand her store with various new wares including Runes. After the first submission, she'll be able to start socketing these Runes into your Equipment, granting them various boosts. When you try to give the final tablet, the Rune Tablet, you'll be given the choice to submit it to either Gerlinde or Sparky. Submitting it to Gerlinde expands her wares as usual, and rewards you with the Crafter's Essence when you come back and talk to her after resting or exiting, while Sparky will disappear. Giving it to Sparky will have him teach you socket Runes yourself at Vestiges and let him finally escape, but Gerlinde will be notably upset and double the price of her wares.

gerlinde skyrest bridge locations world information lords of the fallen wiki guide

Naturally, her coveted value comes with being able to Upgrade Equipment with her. In exchange for some Vigor and corresponding Upgrade Materials, she'll be able to improve the player's Weapons, allowing them to deal stronger damage or increase their potency to protect the lampbearer.

If you head to the section of the Skyrest Bridge where Eustace and Nathaniel are, along with the Shrine of Orius, you'll hear the sounds of a creature grunting periodically. If you look at the small area to the right of the Shrine of Orius, you'll now be able to find the Forlorn Hound. It sought refuge here after you defeated its master, Gentle Gaverus, Mistress of Hounds. For now, you are unable to interact with it. In future visits, you'll have the option to pet it whenever you come by.

forlorn hound skyrest bridge locations world information lords of the fallen wiki guide

Finally, although technically not immediately after Pilgrim's Perch, you can find Thehk-Ihir right at the beginning of Forsaken Fen after cleaning Pilgrim's Perch. He'll have now become a wandering Merchant and will be in different Locations. Each time you find him, his inventory will expand, giving you more options to peruse. If you have found him in the Forsaken Fen, you'll notice that he will no longer be in his spot on the scaffolding here in Skyrest Bridge.

After Forsaken Fen

You'll notice when you visit Skyrest Bridge after clearing Forsaken Fen and defeating The Congregator of Flesh that Andreas of Ebb has relocated from the pathway on the side of Skyrest Bridge to inside the main lobby, beside the Vestige of Ethryg and Stomund, Captain of the Fidelis. If you talk to him he will mention some things about humanity, whether influenced by Rhogar or staunch followers of Orius, all need someone to rise up and lead them. After talking to him, he will give you the Fief Key, which unlocks the large frozen door with a bell near the Vestige of Marco the Axe.

skyrest bridge10 locations world information lords of the fallen wiki guide

Not necessarily after clearing Forsaken Fen, but if you were able to find Kukajin and help heal her petrification through Radiant Spells or Items, she'll mention wanting to set up shop here in Skyrest Bridge where it's safe. You'll find her in one of the left alcoves with sarcophagi, in the hall leading to the Vestige as you enter Skyrest Bridge. If you talk to her, she'll offer to help you out with Boss fights, after you fail an attempt. Unlike the others though, you'll have to come back here and pay her whenever you do. After completing all your payments to her, she'll leave permanently but not before leaving behind Kukajin's Sword, Kukajin's Set, and the Envenomed Shield in her spot in the alcoves.

kukajin skyrest bridge locations world information lords of the fallen wiki guide

As mentioned previously, Thehk-Ihir can no longer be found on his spot following the path where you'd be able to find Andreas previously as well, as he has become a wandering Merchant. You would have seen him at the entrance and/or the end of the Forsaken Fen instead.

After Fitzroy's Gorge

Although technically not immediately after Fitzroy's Gorge, after defeating Crimson Rector Percival in the early stages of the area, you can take the elevator behind him back up to Skyrest Bridge. When you emerge from the elevator, you'll be on the other side of the locked gate that you'd found previously, past the staircase to Pilgrim's Perch. The path in front of the gate brings you to the hanging platforms that lead to deeper explorable areas of Skyrest Bridge where you find the Tortured Prisoner for the first time. You'll find some Regular Deralium Nuggets when the elevator stops. Unlock the gate for a quick route back and forth to Fitzroy's Gorge.

skyrest bridge11 locations world information lords of the fallen wiki guide

After clearing Fitzroy's Gorge, and initially setting foot in Lower Calrath, you'll also notice that Thehk-Ihir has come back to Skyrest Bridge, continuing his new role as a wandering Merchant. Speak to him and he'll talk about his aversion to fire, which is rooted in violent stories from his grandfather about the crusades that happened in his homeland. You can peruse his wares to find he now sells Regular Deralium Nuggets in addition to his previous wares.

After Upper Calrath

After defeating the Spurned Progeny, you can give the Giant Eyeball you're rewarded with to the Tortured Prisoner at the top of Skyrest Bridge, as she had previously asked for some news about the fallen giant's kin. She'll address the deceased child like a baby and will express her desire to make him smile. When you next visit her in this spot, she will have relocated to the battlefield where you fought the Spurned Progeny. You'll also find that Stomund, Captain of the Fidelis has also left his usual spot in the main lobby and has left behind Stomund's Note. Talking to Nathaniel and Eustace reveals that he has gone to the Manse of the Hallowed Brothers burdened with an unknown mission.

After Fief of the Chill Curse

Not exactly after cleaning the Fief of the Chill Curse, but after your little encounter there with Andreas of Ebb, you'll find him back in Skyrest Bridge again, this time in one of the alcoves with sarcophagi. The alcove you want is in the hall that leads to the Vestige right as you enter Skyrest Bridge from the spiral staircase in a tower when you first entered.

If you speak with him, he'll recount that some villainous character ambushed him, and though he won the fight and scared the attacker off, he lost the Andreas of Ebb's Book of Lineage in the process. He'll then very annoyingly demand that you go figure out what happened to it and return the priceless book to him.

As you progress through Upper Calrath B, after heading up from the Cistern, you'll be able to discover a shortcut that connects Upper Calrath to Skyrest Bridge. Along that very path, you'll find an Umbral Flowerbed and then you'll be able to open some double doors that were locked from the other side, on the far end of the bridge. In this room, before you step foot onto the outside area, you'll find a new Stigma you can Soulflay. Doing so will show you what really happened when Andreas of Ebb lost the Andreas of Ebb's Book of Lineage - he tried to ambush The Iron Wayfarer to get the big guy's Umbral Lamp, but ultimately lost and cowered for his life. You'll be rewarded with the usual two Umbral Scourings along with the Andreas of Ebb's Book of Lineage. If you head back to his new spot in the main lobby and choose to return it, he'll comment on the fresh scrapes made by your carelessness in carrying the book but will commend you for completing the task.

After Revelation Depths

After clearing Revelation Depths, or more specifically, if you were able to find Winterberry there and then report back to Byron in the Sunless Skein near the Vestige of Catrin, they will both move into the Skyrest Bridge permanently. Winterberry will not be an additional Merchant for the NPC hub. You can find them beside each other near the circular structure with a sarcophagus, near the stairs that lead up to where you first meet the Tortured Prisoner. If you've explored the location previously, you would've opened a shortcut to that section of Skyrest Bridge from the bottom of the spiral staircase that you use to first get to Skyrest Bridge. If you speak to him, he'll reveal that he's chosen to take Winterberry in and be responsible for her welfare. You'll be rewarded with the Umbral Eye of Ethryg for doing so. Once you've exhausted his dialogue, Winterberry will expand her wares to include Byron's Set, and Byron's Shovel.

After you defeat Harrower Dervla, the Pledged Knight at the end of Revelation Depths, you will have acquired the Dark Crusader's Call as one of your rewards. This is the Item she had stolen from Exacter Dunmire. After you deliver it to him, if you rest and come back to talk to him again, he'll speak to you about a new interest in the Umbral and how its power must be learned and harnessed. This time, he will ask you to deliver the Umbral Tome to him. If you've explored Upper Calrath, especially as it transitions to Sunless Skein, you should've picked it up by now but it can be easy to miss.

After the Path of Devotion

At the end of the Path of Devotion, you'll come across a building that leads back into Skyrest Bridge. Enter the building and ascend the ladder on the right. Turn around at the top and go through the small doorway at the end, then when you emerge out the door at the bottom of the stairs, you'll find yourself back at Skyrest Bridge. At the end of the wall, you can find three Ammunition Satchels and two Large Manastone Clusters. Climb down the ladder here to reach some sort of castle courtyard. There are some Marksmen, Avowed, and a Crimson Rector, but the Umbral Parasite in the middle of the courtyard must first be destroyed before being able to defeat them.

After clearing the courtyard, head down towards the main gates and look to the left to find a hole in a tower. Head through, then climb the stairs all the way to the top. Enter the small doorway at the top and take the ladder upwards. The corpse here carries the Pureblade Mace and Pureblade Shield. Push the ladder through the next doorway, and you'll unlock a shortcut back to Pieta's boss arena at the entrance of the Skyrest Bridge.

After Tower of Penance

After exploring and clearing Tower of Penance, you will have been able to acquire the Perception Wisp after Soulflaying a Stigma. If you we able to hand over the Umbral Tome to Exacter Dunmire previously, his new interest in the Umbral will relocate him to the room where you can find Molhu and the Putrid Mother Shrine. There, he'll ask you to give retrieve the Perception Wisp for him. Upon doing so, you'll have to find him next in the Sunless Skein to resume his Questline.

After the Abbey of the Hallowed Sisters

If you've progressed with The Iron Wayfarer's Questline, he will assist you as the Abbey of the Hallowed Sisters ends in a Boss fight against the Rapturous Huntress of the Dusk. After the fight, you will see him take the Rune of Adyr. After this, you'll find a new Stigma at the top of Skyrest Bridge, opposite the battlefield where you fought Pieta, She of the Blessed Renewal, near the shortcut to Upper Calrath B. Soulflaying it shows you The Iron Wayfarer going through Sentinels and Rhogar Enemies alike after taking the Rune of Adyr. You'll get the usual two Umbral Scourings for doing so.

What the F*CK are the two vicious black cloaked spooks down near the Skyrest Bridge Key? They pop up in Umbral on the vertebrae bridge and decimate me every time. They look like the Bringers of Silence/Nullity/Etc. and equipped with two swords each, but I don't see mention of them in the walk-through and they're rough.
