does it add holy damage or smite buildup? or both? the in game description is less than clear what it does

I can't buy it from the dude because the dude is no longer around. Is there anyway I can still get this spell?

Pretty sure its currently bugged as dmg applied not only relies on spell power, but it scales with Rad scaling of the weapon itself. For instance, Red Hand + 10 dmg increase with a 691 spell power catalyst is only 80 points, while Saint Judge spear which has S scaling in Rad gets a wooping 300+ dmg increase.

          • It seems to benefit little from catalyst's spellpower:
            Tested:
            152 spell power (27rad) = 62 radiance damage (41%)
            200 spell power (27rad) = 68 radiance damage (34%)

conditions: lights agony vs lights agony +2 , pieta swrod +1, tested on ardent repenter in bellroom "bonfire"

I think this might also apply the Smite status to your weapon, as occasionally enemies I fight with it on get attacked by a lightning bolt, and my weapon only has 60 bleed on it… so I don’t know where else the bolt would be coming from… don’t know tho cuz it doesn’t happen all the time. Unless the buff is messing with the bleed status of my weapon and it’s some kind of bug, but no idea….

Really interested in the flat buff + scaling on this one! I dont have enough radiance to try it out and do the math myself yet
