Lol c'mon guys...are you that surprised? In every type of game like this there is always a weapon , spell or build that is unbalanced and taken advantage of...and honestly I'm glad they do. Why? Because we f'n deserve it for being such a toxic community full of spastic chicken tendie loving spectrum dwellers, if it bothers you then just play offline til its nerfed...the op lucent beam thing...not the being 'tarded part, that's a life sentence .

I have the book. I bring it to exacter dummire. No option to give it to him and I’ve exhausted all dialog…

Trying to farm pilfered coins and almost every host that summons me is using this to kill bosses in seconds. I have never been turned off of co-op more.

This spell is either completely bugged or overtuned to an absolutely unbelieveable degree. We're talking 5k+ damage on bosses in less than 2 seconds.

Something it DEFINITELY wrong with this spell. Loser invaded PvP. Used it on me. Melted me to 0. I umbral. Use it on him....
He casts his. I die. He did double the damage, and wasn't even wiggling. My radiance is 75 with the best catalyst. I don't know what the issue is, but the fact he can melt me, but I couldn't melt him tells me there's a bug for this spell, also it just needs nerfed in PvP regardless.

We're talking about a spell that automatically tracks the locked target, even if it dodges. Literally much too strong and the pvp kevins quickly understood that this spell melted all players, regardless of their sacred resistance. For after being entitled to the famous "point down", all proud to have shown their pvp "skill". It reminds me of all those little PvP players on Dark Souls 3 who only got their "skill" by spamming Weapon Arts.

This spell melts anyone blocking INCLUDING PLAYERS and armored dogs. By melt, I mean draining their health almost instantly. The reason the pureblade guys die instantly is because they always block with the shield but if you get close to them and they start attacking, you can see the damage reduces exponentially.

I don't know if it's a bug or not but it's pretty insane for people who don't know this in pvp. Luckily not that many enemies block in the first place and it does take a second or so to ready the charge so it kinda evens out. I hope dev makes this a feature but reduce the damage when enemies are blocking instead of almost instant kill.

Currently on PC, i found a bug which causes the beam to deal damage every frame against certain enemies. Enemies that are shielding, armored dogs, and the giant head mini boss in Umbral realm gets hit every frame.

One-shots, as in actually 100 to 0, the Pureblade enemies when they have their shields imbued with radiance.

This thing needs nerf asap... everyone spams it on PVP recently and its not possible to dodge it at all because of the fast tracking it haves, if you try to defend with a shiend even with high radiance defence stats you get evaporated too.

Seems to have a lot of damage potential with heavy radiance and a build centered around spell damage I'm sure it will melt. However it's not long range like Comet Azur from Elden Ring you have to be closer than other spells, not sure if it's bugged.

Seems handing in the tome is tied to Dunmire's quest. I couldn't hand it in until after killing Harrower Dervla in Revelation Depths. After that he took the tome and I could buy the spell.
