Umbral Tome is a Quest Item in Lords of the Fallen (LotF). Umbral Tome is an old book focusing on Umbral.
Where to Find Umbral Tome in Lords of the Fallen
Umbral Tome can be found in the following Location:
- Sunless Skein: Inside an Umbral Belly in the Sunless Skein Mines.
- From the Vestige of Hooded Antuli, backtrack through the corridor leading to Upper Calrath, where you'll come across a large mining shaft. Go up to the top of the spiral staircase, and drop down onto a beam that leads to a smaller platform, with a barred alcove to its right. Enter the Umbral Realm to pass through the bars and jump onto the newly formed platform to find an Umbral Belly. Soulflay it to acquire the Umbral Tome.
How to use Umbral Tome in Lords of the Fallen
Umbral Tome can be used by players to:
- Give to Exacter Dunmire to progress his quest.
- Note that you can only give this item to him after acquiring other requested items first

AnonymousWiki explains it badly. Depending on how far you made it, you'll have up to 3 paths from the bonfire. It's the corridor with the single lantern on the left wall instead of the ceiling. And it's a normal staircase which turns into a spiral staircase.

Stolen from reddit: First, Warp to the Mines "bonfire" (Vestige of Hood Antuli). Go backward (ignore the corridor with the locked door) and you should be at the bottom of a spiral staircase. Go up and near the top, there should be a wooden structure with a bunch of breakable boxes inside, hiding a platform that lets you drop down to a wooden beam underneath. And if you're in umbral world, it should reveal a hidden platform on the right where you can jump to and the Umbral Tome should be in there.
The book is in the mineshaft that leads from Calrath down to Hooded Antuli.
The tunnel you are looking for is directly behind you from when you spawn at the vestige.
