Searing Accusation is an Inferno Catalyst in Lords of the Fallen (LotF). Searing Accusation offers substantial magical damage primarily scaling with Inferno.

Where to Find Searing Accusation in Lords of the Fallen
Searing Accusation can be found in the following Location:
- Skyrest Bridge: In the area where you have to deal with the Umbral Tumor. Head down, then soulflay the target in front of you to move the platform toward you. Drop down and then turn around to find the target you need to Soulflay that leads back to the Umbral tumor you want to get rid of. Turn around again and Soulflay another target to bring you to the ladder on the other side. Climb back up to the hall and then climb the longer ladder back up to the Umbral tumor. The last target is actually right above you to the right, just in range for you to Soulflay if you step close to the end of the platform. Soulflay the Umbral Belly that the tumor was hiding and then pick up the Searing Accusation that gets dropped.

- Hidden Lore: Once, some believed the colossal Hand of Adyr to be the god's actual hand, the rest of his body buried beneath, but in reality the formation manifested long after Adyr's exile, a symbol of his festering rage, powerful enough to cross dimensions. (Requires Inferno to unlock)
- Equipping a Catalyst will forego the possibility to use a Throwable Item or a Ranged Weapon

- Can be given to the Tortured Prisoner to free her and advance her questline. She will return it once you bring her Giant Eyeball by proceeding her questline.

on ng+ when you pick up this item no dialog is shown, when you try to release her you will give her your upgraded catalyst. Massive problem, they need to fix the logic for this specific item. makes no sense to upgrade for future runs.

This thing is retarded, the only 2 inf catalysts in the game that you can get before BRAMIS CASTLE and you have to give the better one away immediately, or go with only 1 spell [or none if you started as any class other than cultist] for a hefty portion of the game.
Luckily it's easy to circumvent.
You can use shops in MP lobbies, even if you dont have access to them, so get a friend or find someone on discord who doesn't use pyromancies to do the first stage of her quest for you. Then, after beating the fire giant, go free her and give her the eyeball to get the catalyst right back. Forewarning, don't upgrade it passed like +4 because it gets reset when you give it to her.

Any way to get rid of this thing? She gave it back after giving her the eye and now it's perma stuck in my inventory -- can't sell it, no one will take the damn thing!
Thanks a lot devs, really. I had a maxed out one, the game did not give me a 2nd one in NG+ and when I gave it to the tortured prisoner she game it back to me UNUPGRADED **** YOU! I wanted to do it because I did not buy everything off her in NG. Seriously and the progeny boss is a joke. I did him with a only +5 catalyst in NG+ by just running from one platform to the one on the opposite side spamming piercing light. I used the right to cast radiant spells with it. I though it was kind of challenging but that that much in NG because he could 1 hit kill me with this arm slam but this is just a build in cheese.
You can only hold one of these? I am relatively sure I tried to pick up another one, I guess I need to give her my maxed out one for the boss.

I accedentaly walked away from the conversation with Tourtured Prisoner and didnt get Searing accisation and when i bought the rings she sells i didnt get them. (II have deafeated Spurned progeny and given it to her) Is there anything i can do to get it back?

Jesus, so many crybabies here. If you give her the damn thing she'll sell things, but you'll get it back later if you bring her the eye of a main boss. Just play the damn game instead of complaining

Super lame. I just upgraded this and now I have to hand it over if I want to learn any spells.
So what's better? Keep it and use it or hand it over to learn new spells?

If you give this to that lady in the cage below skybridge, she will move upon reloading and her Tortured Prisoner's head Cage will be there

It's not that much better than the starting catalyst. +5 I am doing 269 vs 255 for the pyric one. Totally missed the tortured prisoner until after defeating the baby giant. Pretty sure a better catalyst is just down the road.
