Severing Blades is one of the Inferno Spell available in Lords of the Fallen (LotF). Severing Blades is an Inferno Spell that allows you to send forth a pair of flame blades. These blades cut through enemies, dealing fiery damage to foes in their path. To use this spell, you need an Inferno Catalyst. Spells in Lords of the Fallen (LOTF) are special powers that allow the player to do a variety of game-changing actions such as boosting his damage, summoning creatures and entities, and even carpeting the field with magical explosions. Magic can be acquired from looting, by defeating enemies, and can be bought from Merchants.

- Hidden Lore: Recognising the threat represented by the lampbearer mission, Adyr was able to obtain one of the Umbral parasites and bind it to a Rhogar, creating the Lightreaper, a creature unaware of the suspicion and disgust with which he would always be regarded by his creator. (Requires Inferno to unlock)

This spell needs to have a larger vertical hitbox and pierce enemies. Clips everything and misses enemies that it looks likes it hits.

its not very strong, but it casts VERY quickly and can be used to chain spells that would otherwise have a very long cast time, like lava burst, which will then proc the wither, for what its worth.
much better than casting a raw lava burst first, best to do this spell, THEN burst, or seamlessly chain it between other attacks if you need to quickly use ranged options.

It does half fire damage half wither damage, kinda lame tbh.
