Sword of the Flayed is a Grand Sword in Lords of the Fallen (LotF). Sword of the Flayed excels in physical and fire damage, scaling with Strength and Inferno. Grand Swords are Melee Weapons that require players to get up close and personal with Enemies, Bosses, or other players during PVP, to inflict damage. They may require certain stats in order to be wielded properly and can be found as loot, rewards, or crafting.

Where to Find Sword of the Flayed in Lords of the Fallen
Sword of the Flayed can be obtained from:
- Bramis Castle: From the Umbral Flowerbed in the dining room, head down the stairs and go to the head of the table to find the King's Stigma. Behind it, you can pick up the Sword of the Flayed.

I don't know why but I feel like this weapon should have bleed build up, is that just me?

The guide only shows you parts of the way to pick up the sword. I'll tell you how to get there from start to finish. Detail to detail. So find a safe spot and read up!
In order to get to this area, you first must go from the Vestige of The Bloody Pilgrim and take a right. From there, there's a locked gate that serves as a shortcut you unlock from inside the castle. Take a left and climb up the stairs, you will face plenty of enemies along the way, so be prepared to clear them out. Take a right and keep climbing the stairs until run into two different paths.
The stairs on the right also serves as another shortcut, but can only be opened from inside the castle. Continue straight until you walk into a umbral flowerbed. Move onward and drop down to another set of stairs until you run into a breakable, wooden wall. Beware, though, a Ruiner is behind the wooden wall and will bust through, be prepared to take it down. Keep right until you see a door. Open that, kick down the ladder and it will open up a shortcut back to the umbral flowerbed.
Keep right and climb down the stairs until you find another door. Open that up and it will take you back to the Bloody Pilgrim Vestige. Head down the stairs to open the gate. Now head back and keep heading up until you encounter a proselyte knight, a conflagrat seer, and a whole bunch of fiery zombies. Clear those out and you should see a lever. Pull it and it should activate the stairs. Head back and climb up the stairs to the second floor to the left.
Fair warning, there are a lot of enemies on this floor, so be sure you have your healing wares stocked up. On your right is another proselyte knight with an umbral parasite, take them out first, then open up a chest inside that has parts of the Lord armor set. Resume heading straight and you will be facing a trapper, on your left is another trapper and a hell hound. Once you clear those out, and head straight through the door, there is an umbral effigy you can use to get back into the living, should you find yourself in the umbral world. On your right is a ladder you can kick down that will take you back to the first floor.
Now head back out, take a right, and on your should be a shelves of books. On that shelf is the Royal Key. Pick it up and head all the way back down the stairs. Take a right, then on your left is another set of stairs that's on fire that you cannot traverse through. Shift yourself to the umbral world to clear out the flames and head upward. On top of the stairs is a fire witch. Take her out and proceed onward to through the door with the royal key and you will find another umbral flowerbed. Take either direction from there and head down to the bloody dining room. Head over to the head of the table, and behind it is the Sword of The Flayed.
This sword is excellent for strength and inferno builds, and it doesn't weigh as much. This is basically Ravager Gregory's Sword, but for inferno builds.
