Tancred's Key is a Key Item in Lords of the Fallen (LotF). Tancred's Key is a bloodstained key bearing two faces, associated with the Rhogar corruption and Tancred's struggle for control, but its specific use is unspecified. Tancred's Key can be found in the following Location:
- Tower of Penance: Drops as a reward upon defeating Tancred and Reinhold the Immured.
How to use Tancred's Key in Lords of the Fallen
Tancred's Key can be used by players to:
- Used to open the lift back up the hall and to use to rise to the top the cleanse the beacon.
- UPDATE! As of Patch v.1.1.414, this is used to open the prison cell located at the boss arena where players fight Tancred. The locked prison cell is on the right-hand side of the shrine where players can find the Flickering Flail weapon.
LOTF Tancred's Key Notes & Tips
- Hidden Lore: As the Rhogar corruption which Tancred so desperately feared took root within the body he shared with Reinhold, so too did greed blossom, a greed not for wealth but for what he was gradually and dreadfully losing to his vengeful brother: control. (Requires Radiance to unlock).

The lift is where you dropped down the bottom-most hole of the Tower. It's behind a wooden wall.
