This is immensely overpowered, and more or less mandatory for any build that wants to have a crossbow or bow in it. With this and even one of the other umbral eyes that buffs withered health regain, you will immediately make back the withered health, basically allowing you to dispatch enemies from a safe distance for free.

Balance in Lords of the Fallen:
Umbral eye of diter: perfect dodges deal miniscule wither damage
This: you have infinite ammo as long as you melee from time to time

I'm literally a moron who couldn't read. I was putting it in the secondary slot, so of course it doesn't work... what a dummy. For some reason I played for 50 hours and never realized the two lamp eye slots were primary and second. I kept reading the eye descriptions as having a primary and second effect, not an effect in a primary or second slot... changes how everything works around these items.

I combined this with secondary lamp effect the improves health regain of withered damage from attack, now as long as I hit my target, the shots are always just free.

This would be a necessary item on any ranged build and I'm looking forward to doing a NG+ with a different build than I started with.

My other suggestions is also the user the Kinrangr Leader Ax in one of your hands. When upgraded; it has two strength slots which means you can slot two of the runes that give you improved physical damage from dual wielding, which improves bow damage (as I understand it).

I have tested this thoroughly on my archer build. It does not seem to work. I have put it into my lamp and tried every single thrown item I have, my bow, my crossbows.... when I run out of ammo, i just can't shoot or throw anymore, like I'm out of ammo.

            • Ok. This thing is a game changer. Using it with the javelin of protection is unlimited healing.

              But wait. It gets better.

The triple shot crossbow. After discovering that crossbow and this eye I am a god. Nothing is a challenge anymore. Bosses fall before me like wheat before the scythe. Enemies are suggestions more than threats. Gods fear me. I have been arrested by the FBI for my powers. I have become binary code.

Flowerbed by the cliff. Sometimes I think this sites wants to sell alcohol.

You can find it right before the sundered monarch fight. Starting at the bottom of the stairs, head towards the boss. There n the right side is a small area connected to the stairs. Enter umbral, crack open belly, done.

Incredibly strong, the wither dmg is very low and it heals itself instantly when you hit your target

I was playing agi with assassin's bow maxed out and there was absolutely no point using melee anymore in endgame
