Bugged, wither also apply to heavy attacks. So sad many mechanics are broken. Runes, statuses, all do not behave like theg shiuls.

Use the to cheese spurned progeny. You can keep him in his first phase by only dealing wither damage till he is dead

It's bugged... Heavy attacks do wither aswell... We need the heavy attack to be normal damage so we can get our withered health back.

Works best with a build that can proc status very quickly. The biggest downside is that it can be difficult to recover your own withered health, because Wither damage you inflict doesn't heal you. Using the combo attack chord helps a lot in that department.

Interesting thing about this: the game seems to convert the damage enemies receive into wither, but doesn't change your damage type to wither. So if you're using a physical damage weapon, Warrior's Claw and runes that buff physical damage will still increase your damage, but things like Faceless Carving that buff your wither damage won't apply.

Just wanna comment that things like bleed and poison procs can deal damage and proc the wither damage, so if you are using this eye on a status effect built then it's just free damage, assuming you can proc the status

bugged for sure.... it says extra dmg but replaces your whole dmg with wither dmg instead of adding bonus wither dmg was nice but useless as it is now

I highly recommend NOT putting this eye in your main socket unless you have a specific build where you can dish out some non-withered damage very fast in an aoe (spells, throwables).

What you'll find is that this weapon drops enemies to 1 hp but you can no longer kill them with your R1 or R2 attacks. You need to use a kick to kill them, and when you're fighting hordes of medium and weak enemies as you will be in this game, the kick just won't cut it. Using an aoe spell also works, but not many aoe spells are faster than an R1 or R2.

This eye is good against strong enemies and bosses, but awful against hordes, and probably not great in pvp.

Easy way I utilized this umbral eye was to use the kick move. Very fast and with the stack wither damage, it makes my kicks do hundreds of damage.

I'm still not sure if this is good or not as with my testing it leaves many enemies at 1 hp requiring another hit to kill them. I'm not sure if it's a bug or not but they sometimes will not die and they'll heal all the withered health back.

Near the Noble Woman Set. Follow the way until you encounter an Infernal Enchantress. Turn around (the opposite way of where she stood) and you'll end up at a large square. In umbral you need to soulflay and there it is.
