Garish Display is a Heavy Shields in Lords of the Fallen (LotF). Garish Display is a pure strength shield known for its unique design, commissioned by a Lower Calrath businessman and criminal. It offers respectable protection against physical (58%) and fire (54%) damage but is less effective against other damage types. Shields allow players to block incoming attacks as well as mitigating damage received by Enemies, Bosses, or other players.

The Lower Calrath businessman and criminal who commissioned the creation of this shield had grand ambitions, but in his arrogance refused to accept the fact that his humble roots ensured he would never truly be accepted within Mournstead high society.
Where to Find Garish Display in Lords of the Fallen
Garish Display can be found in the following Location:
- Lower Calrath: In the tent in an area later on in the Lower Calrath location with a large flaming hand pyre, an Infernal Enchantress, some Seared Souls, and some Rhogar Hounds.
- From the Alehouse Vestige (Vestige of Lydia the Numb Witch), after unlocking the ladder shortcut directly to the left of the vestige, head up that ladder and back out through the closed gate using the Umbral Lamp. Head straight through and out the archway on the right, past the Proselyte that has his back turned to you, and all the way straight down the path to ground level. The shield can be found inside the large tent in the courtyard area here, just on the other side of the large flaming hand pyre at the bottom of the slope.

Aesthetically it fits my Paladin so well (gold and big) but it's only strength Rune slots. Only other big golden metal shield needs 15 Agility... why must you do this to me!
