Mournstead Infantry is a starting Class in Lords of the Fallen (LotF). Mournstead Infantry is a class that favours Agility, thus benefitting better from Agility-scaled weapons than Strength-scaled weapons. Classes determine both the starting Equipment and Stats for players, but during the course of the game, players can decide to alter their build to a playstyle that suits them better. There are a total of 9 Starting Classes available in Lords of the Fallen (LOTF), as well as 4 that have to be unlocked.
A seasoned Mournstead foot soldier whose time in the mud and blood and tumult of battle taught them the value of agility, speed and keeping the enemy at a distance. A class for those who favour dexterity and light defence over strength and bulkier armour.

This was my starting character. A spear wielding, agility focused character seemed interesting to me. If we haven't learned by now, the tight corridors in this game can be beyond annoying when swinging a weapon, but IF you stick with the spear weapon it can help in these areas with its "thrust". Of course, I tried experimenting with other weapons and found the constant bouncing of the walls in this game to be worse than what I had seen in FromSoft games with that slight stun you receive, leaving you open for counterattacks. I work through it by keeping different weapon types with me and using them situationally. Just learn your weapons patterns: one handed, two handed... some can thrust, swing, or perform an overhead chop. Also note that there are "quality scaled" weapons in this game, and the Mournstead Infantry can be a decent starting class for that, having its Strength only slightly lower than its Agility.
