Renewal Knife is a Consumable in Lords of the Fallen (LotF). Renewal Knife can be used to unlock the Mirror of Distortion, an added feature introduced in Update v.1.1.414. This is one of the required materials used to activate the mirror in or order to re access Character Creation and make Appearance or name changers to your character.
A knife combining a stone blade with a bone handle, both incredibly old. Has no reflection, oddly. Some of the numerous rituals created by the Nohuta as methods of honouring the Putrid Mother involved the sculpting of flesh and bone just one of the Umbral crafts at which Molhu, unburdened by conscience and possessing an utter dedication to his work, became a master.

I failed to find the knife in Molhu's shop. Either I encountered a bug or its appearance there requires some sort of secret action. I completed the game and brought him all items that expand his inventory. I also collected all three glass shards.
