Burn is a Status Effect in Lords of the Fallen (LOTF). Burn is one of Lords of the Fallen damage over time status effects, this one deals Fire Damage. Status Effects are various buffs or ailments that apply either a beneficial or detrimental effect to the target. Status Effects can be applied on both enemies and players alike. Status Effects are triggered after a buildup meter is filled by repeated application of attacks that cause the effect. Both players and enemies can have varying resistances to a given Status Effect.

Burn Effects LOTF

  • Burn causes Fire Damage over time when the bar is filled.
  • Enemies that wield fire weapons, may inflict Burn. Also, standing on fire surfaces, or getting too close to them, may lead up to an increase of the burn status effect bar.
  • Every two points spent in any Stat, increases all Status Effects Resistances by a point, including Burn. An increased resistance to Burn slows the build up of the Status effect bar when suffering burn-inflicting damage.
  • Players can remove the effects of Burn by consuming a Burn Cure.
  • Players can inflict Burn by consuming Minor Fire Salts
