Honestly this works best on a pure radiance build. Use crafters essence to remove the weight and the strength requirement, along with Gravix (2 hand damage) and Shon (elemental damage), offhand a Jeffrey's with three more Gravix, slap on radiant weapon and enjoy arguably the most beastly elemental bonk-stick in the game.

Anyone else noticed a seam part way down the blade of this weapon? Pretty noticeable in various lighting scenarios (even walking around Skyrest). Tried all different settings, doesn't appear to fix it.

Bloody Glory will generally hit harder with only 1 hit, but if you're doing any kind of extended fight against something where more than 1 hit is required, this thing will do more damage with the Wither. I actually use this and Bloody Glory together to get the bleed and wither together. Works a charm.

          • Sword is amazing, only issue is it often fails to 1 shot weak mobs due to the wither damage. Even when the phys+holy damage should be enough alone, it tends to take one extra hit which can get annoying with such a slow weapon. Just switched over to Bloody Glory to see how it compares, but don't have it upgraded enough to give a fair comparison.

            • This thing is a monster! @ 50-50 STR-RAD, chuck on the eyeball that prevents charged attack interruptions, radiant weapon and this thing can 2-3 shot almost any late game enemy.

Couldn't give him the rosary. His dialogue was stuck on Dervla, so I went ahead and killed her and gave him the Dark Crusaders Call to see if it fixed sequence and allowed him to take the rosary. Now he is on about the book and still won't take the rosary. I'd give him all other items up to that point, and I've rested in between to refresh him and his shop. Nothing. Hoping he will take the damn thing at some point.

I had been leveling my build specifically for this sword, so being bug-locked out of it kinda sours the experience.

So does this sword only have 2 rune slots? That looks weird... if that is a mistake, what rune type is the 3rd slot plz?

That thing was too big to be called a sword. Too big, too thick, too heavy, and too rough, it was more like a large hunk of iron.

Advice for evryone who wants higher damage while 2h: use gravix rune in the main weapon and use a another weapon like crimson rector longsword (2 str 1 rad rune slot) for more gravix runes they all stack also with the warrior pendant

                      • This might have the most damage of any weapon, more than even iron wayfarer hammer. It get a+ in TWO stays, so when you have 70 or 60 strength and radiance it's gets on 1200 ar range. And it's elements have good bonus damage with scaling so you will likely hit for a lot of their weakness.

Turn-off auto-aim and watch this hunk of steel demolish all enemies in front of you. It also has a 45 degrees circular slash arc with R2 charge, so it damages enemies at the back.

This thing hits like a tank once you meet the requirements and upgrade it.

I've had one player invade me while I was in the umbral world, and this grand sword does force enemy players to go aggressive.

You can but it from Exacter Dunmire, after you deliver an item named something Gregory.
Sorry I can´t remember where I found the item.
