Effect Weapon function: Increase physical damage while two-handing. |
Gravix is one of the Runes available in Lords of the Fallen (LotF). Gravix is a rune that increases physical damage while two-handing for weapons and increases maximum equip load for shields. It relates to the power of Warwolves wielding weapons with both hands..
Mobility in battle is deemed a primary trait by some, but the sheer power delivered by a Warwolf wielding a weapon with both hands has been known to shatter the hardiest bones and destroy the sturdiest armour.

putting this on a weapon and then 2handing it does NOT increase the damage of the SPELL Latimer's Javelin

This gives a +10% damage bonus and stacks if you equip multiple. Interestingly it affects both the physical AND elemental damage of the weapon, including weapon buffs, despite the description saying it only affects physical. Probably unintended, but this means you get the full 10% damage increase even on a split damage weapon, or even Pieta's Sword (which has no physical damage at all).
Also, as another commenter pointed out, you can put this on an off-hand weapon and it'll increase the damage of your main-hand weapon when 2-handing it. Jeffrey's Dagger is the best off-hand choice for this due to the low weight and 3 "All" rune slots.

Does the shield effect work? My max equip load stays the same with this on or off.

Drops from Pureblades. Outside Rapturous Huntress of the Dusk's room is a good place to farm.

Drops from Kinrangr Guardians. Can farm them in Fief of the Chill Rune (Vestige of Svornil).

This rune stacks if 2h main weapon and got another weapon on the back with this rune in socket, very nice damage!
Damage with princess sting with two runes equipped on a shield: 982. Damage against the same enemy without the runes: 982. Damage against the same enemy with Ring of Bones, with and without runes: 1010. Conclusion, Runes don't work or they don't work correctly on a shield.
