Where to find Torso Fungus in Lords of the Fallen

The Torso Fungus Chest Armor can be found at:

  • This item can drop from the Fungal Bowman enemy.
  • Sunless Skein: From the Vestige of Catrin, follow the tracks to your left and enter through the dark tunnel. Past the enemies and the archway, make a right to a narrow passage. Exit through the moonlit archway and use the stairs to your left as you exit. Tread the path going down and past the metal grate bridge, then, proceed to enter the archway to your left into the flooded tunnel. Follow the path to your left where you will find Fungal Bowman enemies. Keep eliminating this enemy type for a chance to receive the Torso Fungus and other pieces of the Fungal Bowman Set.

Lords of the Fallen Torso Fungus Notes & Tips

  • Hidden Lore: While some archaic rumours claim otherwise, consumption of this fungus does not engender a feeling of euphoria but rather agony, madness and death. (Requires Radiance to unlock).
  • Chest Armor is worn over or around the player's torso to obtain an increase of defense and resistance to the different types of damage. It also changes the appearance as well when equipped.

Bruh.. seriously this drop rate is insane. Going to need therapy, having traumatic flashbacks of Pure Bladestone. In my nightmares I'm being chased by Black Skeletons and Fungal Bowmen.

      • Hope this helps anyone going after the Ironclad Trophy, found a spot with 3 Fungal Bowman in very close proximity. When I decided to go after the trophy, i found I needed all 4 pieces (head, chest, arm, leg). Within 30 mins and my item discovery close to 6, i got them all plus lots of stuff to sell. The Arm Fungus took the longest...

From Vestige of Catrin (Hoist in Sunless Skein), go thru the shortcut door you eventually open and ride the elevator down. Get off (kill the 2 enemy's if you want) and go to the left down the stairs where you'll find a spot to plant a Vestige Seed if you feel you need it. From here, i enter Umbral, jump across to the platform you can pull down, roll off towards the rock wall (towards the spot where you can soulflay for the Umbral Eye of Dieter). Continue down the ledges until you hit solid ground where there's several baddies and an Emergence point (do so if needed). Cross the rope bridge, and run past everyone here (2 of our 3 Fungal Bowman are right here, but watch out for the protected one). Go down the ladder, and continue on, running past everything and over the wooden bridge shortcut you've previously opened (at the end of bridge is Fungal Bowman number 3 in a small alcove to the right). Ignoring the alcove, go straight and a few steps into the tunnel, plant a Vestige Seed. Now your set! Rest, turn around, pop your paws (lucky and charmed as needed), go out kill the bowman who's now on your left. Go to where the other 2 bowmen are going on a killing spree (i ignored the one at the top of the steps because it's protected killing the other one first giving me time to soulflay the protected one). Go back to the Seed. Wash, rinse, repeat...

Sorry if post is long, I try to me thorough...

got it after 2 hrs+ with all 5.80 droprate and always umbral finisher, but crazy thing is i got it when accidentally killing normal not using finisher LOL

I farmed this for 4 hours straight using one of each rabbit foot, 2 runes in a shield that increase item discovery, the bountiful ring, and umbral finishers only. The drop rate on this is insanely low but after all that time I got it.

I FINALLY GOT ONE TO DROP. I can confirm that these enemies do drop the Torso Fungus. The drop rate is just insane.

Use umbral finishers, seems to force item drops more often and those enemies have no runes that they can drop.

Day 2, farming with 6.24 item discovery, countless of these dudes slain: 1 pair of pants my lord but no sign of a torso...was hoping I could use a shield in my main hand to further up the item discovery but alas its not meant to be, like this torso dropping...This comment section confirms its now an urban legend honestly.

Has anyone actually been able to get this thing to drop by farming the enemies? Been at it for 2 days and got an army's worth of their equipment but not a single torso piece.

The drop rate of this is atrocious. I have a million bows, daggers and head pieces and 2 arm pieces. This torso and the pants just wont drop for me. I've been farming the three ones in revelation depths for hours.
