Damarose the Marked is an NPC, a Merchant, and a possible secondary Boss in Lords of the Fallen. Damarose the Marked is a follower of Adyr and wonders if you could serve a purpose in the return of Adyr. NPCs interact with players in different ways, even giving them Quests and rewards as they complete them.

Where to find Damarose the Marked in Lords of the Fallen
Damarose the Marked can initially be found at Pilgrim's Perch, in the lower levels accessed by the elevator.
- Nearest Vestige: Vestige of Blind Agatha
- This NPC moves to the gates of Bramis Castle if you cleanse the beacons.
- This NPC moves to Fitzroy's Gorge, near the Vestige of Betrayed Eliard if you're not cleansing any of the beacons.
- This NPC moves to the Throne Room in Bramis Castle and you will find her lifeless body incorporated into Adyr's Effigy.
- NOTE: Damarose the Marked is the mysterious woman in red coat that you will find in Pilgrim's Perch before you fight Scourged Sister Delyth.

Lords of the Fallen Damarose the Marked Full Questline Walkthrough
Go inside the building from the scaffolding at Pilgrim's Perch, then climb down the ladder, and turn right to find a character adorned in a red coat. You can't see much of her face due to her hood. Speaking to her will reveal her allegiances with Adyr and she'll warn you not to go around cleansing the beacons. She'll also mention she'd seen a Dark Crusader wielding your Umbral Lamp before you not too long ago. She won't start a fight with you though and she'll leave you alone after you keep talking to her.
You will find Damarose the Marked in the area below the Vestige of Blind Agatha. You can access this level by using the elevator opposite the Vestige. When you get to the mines, you will find more Pilgrims guarding here. Eliminate all threats and continue to explore and head deeper below. Use the ladder at the end of the path, which will take you to another elevator leading you to the lower levels.
Activate the switch and head out the torch-lit path in front of you. Damarose the Marked is standing idly here. When you first approach her, she first points out that you are now seeing through the lies of everyone around you including that of the Church, crusaders, sentinels, and madmen... most importantly, she will point out that she's wondering if you will play a role in the return of Adyr. Damarose insists that Adyr has no time for the weak, and neither should you.
After exhausting her dialogs, you can now check her items for sale. She sells a unique spell called Adyr's Rage and other items too.

Cleansing Beacons in LotF
NOTE: When you first met Damarose the Marked, she warned you not to go around cleansing beacons. This is because it will affect her current questline. If you decide that you will be cleansing beacons, Damarose will stop being a Merchant and will set her on a path to confront you. She will try to prevent you from ruining the return of Adyr by fighting you at the gates of Bramis Castle. However, if you will not be cleansing Beacons, Damarose will have a different outcome. She's essential in alternating the Endings players get in Lords of the Fallen.
In our playthrough, we decided to cleanse the beacons, so before you continue doing so, make sure to purchase items from Damarose before you proceed. After defeating the Hushed Saint in Forsaken Fen and cleansing the first beacon, Damarose the Marked will be encountered later on as a secondary Boss.
You will find Damarose the Marked in the gates before you enter Bramis Castle. She intends to stop the Deathless One from preventing the return of Adyr. Upon defeat, she will drop the following items:
Not Cleansing Beacons in LotF
If you decided not to cleanse the beacons, then, after meeting Damarose the Marked in Pilgrim's Perch, you will find her next at the top of the hill in Fitzroy's Gorge. She will be seen observing Crimson Rector Percival from a distance. Exhaust her dialogue in this location, she remains a Merchants as long as you're not cleansing any of the beacons. After this scenario, she will move to the next location where the Shrine of Adyr can be found.
NOTE: If you have killed Crimson Rector Percival, then his body will be found on a stone slab next to Damarose in the cave. If you haven't, he will disappear from the world and his body will appear in the same cave.
Exit the cave in Fitzroy's Gorge and walk past the bridge where you will fight the Ruiner. Cross over to the Umbral Realm and soulflay the Umbral Tumor on the other end of the bridge. Walk back to the bridge where you fought the Ruiner and destroy the carriage that will reveal a path going down. Jump on the stone platform and pull the bone platforms by interacting with the tumors on the opposite side. Be careful of the enemies here as you make your way to the end of the path, and use the ladder to go up. Explore the left path until you reach the Vestige of Betrayed Eliard inside a cave.
You will find Damarose the Marked on the left side by a tall archway. She tells you that work has already started and will ask you to retrieve the Adyr-Worshipper's Saw (this item can be obtained on the glowing red altar protected by a Raw Mangler in the Cistern). Upon bringing the item, she intends to create life in Adyr's name, so she will use this on the body of Crimson Rector Percival. She will ask for 3 pieces of Rhogar's flesh:
- Infernal Enchantress Flesh - obtained by defeating the Infernal Enchantress at the start of Lower Calrath
- Spurned Progeny Flesh - obtained by defeating the boss in Lower Calrath
- Lightreaper Flesh - obtained by defeating the Lightreaper
As soon as you have collected the 3 items, exhaust her dialogues to prompt her to attempt this ritual on Crimson Rector Percival. Doing this will turn him into a failed, lifeless proselyte. Then, she will meet you at the gates of Bramis Castle and reward you with x1 Damarose's Cleaver. Then, ends the interaction there. Make sure to purchase all the items that you need from Damarose the Marked before you leave the area. Finally, you will find her lifeless body incorporated into the effigy of Adyr inside the Bramis Castle - Throne Room (replacing Melchior). You can access this area after you defeat The Sundered Monarch and walk up the spiral stairs. You can obtain the following items near Adyr's Effigy in the Throne Room:
This will mark the quest Adyr's Faithful Servant as completed and will unlock the trophy: Part of the Divine.
Damarose the Marked's Role in Endings in Lords of the Fallen
Unlocking the Umbral Ending in Lords of the Fallen will require killing certain NPCs. By doing so, it will automatically lock out players from completing their quests as well as interacting with them. To unlock the Umbral Ending, do the following related to Damarose the Marked:
- In Mother's Lull, first, interact with the non-hostile Remnant to acquire Damarose's Seedpod.
- Use the Seedpod on Damarose to kill her. By doing this, it will grant access to the first floating platform in Mother's Lull.
NOTE: Players should find Damarose at Pilgrim's Perch if you plan on using the seed on her.

i don't care about her story or how to do her quest - i just care to remark that i ******* hate her for not sending the elevator (the one right before the mistress of hounds) back up after she took it

Don't kill Percy before talking to Damarose in fitzroys gorge, she won't be there asking for skin.

She never shows up in my game for her to give me her cleaver... is it only a drop item from fighting her?

Am I missing something? I have the saw and 2 of the clumps but I can’t figure out how to give them to her and she is only selling 1 axe and 5 fingers.

Ok, dunno if it is because there is a bug or because i have very low Inferno and i need higher Inferno, but Damarose's quest isn't progressing. I killed Percival and he's not at the shrine. I reloaded the area 4 times, fast travelled... Nothing works.

Just to note: after giving Damarose the Rhogar fleshes she needed, her inventory updated at some point. All I there is in her inventory as new items were three rings. One that increases two handed attacks, one that reduces ammo use for throwing weapons, and one that buffs two handed attacks. Don't know if giving her all three fleshes right off the bat caused any bugs as that's how I got her inventory to update, after killing the Lightreaper in Upper Calrath.

So i have completed this quest with only talking to her at the shrine and with having Percival dead already, so either it is a bug or its mainly tied to the items you give her

Once you bring the Adyr-Worshipper's Saw to Damarose, she adds additional items to her inventory, including the Proselyte Set, the spell Adyr's Endurance (very useful on any melee build and low inferno requirement) and the polearm Rhogar's Reach.

Yeah so I screwed the pooch on this one. I found her at Adyr's shrine. I haven't cleansed any beacons. I gave her the saw, I had all pieces of flesh but it immediately asked me to give her the seed which killed her. So yeah this trophy is locked til next run. Hopefully she didn't have any other spells I needed. I got everything she had at Pilgrims perch and whatever she had at the shrine. Some of these NPC quests are so easy to screw up and not know you screwed it up til its too late. I probably should have rested after I gave her the saw so she would have moved to her next spot. There should be some sort of side quest tracker in the UI w/ little anecdotes explaining the do's and don'ts so we don't screw them up.

I'm at an issue where I never talked to her at pilgrims perch, so when I killed the fallen king or whatever he's called, I went to pilgrim perch, talked to her, gave her my seed, she fell over and died, but now in mothers lull I can see her pillar to pull to but I cannot get the next seed for gerlinde

Question when it comes to this questline: Are you able to complete it on a Radiance Ending playthrough? I'm thinking it *might* be possible if you do not cleanse any of the beacons, continue Damarose's questline all the way till you talk with her at the gates of Bramis Castle, then reload the area to ensure she disappears before turning around and cleansing all of the beacons *before* going any further in Bramis Castle. Problem is, I'm not sure if this method works or if needing to do an Inferno Ending is mandatory to complete her questline.

If you have already talked to adyr to recieve the empowered rune, then giving her the 3 flesh bits will cause her to skip her 1st location at bramis and go straight to the effigy. I think this misses out on her cleaver.

AFTER you give the 3 items, you can go to the castle, something that might have you doubting as i just did like an idiot, she didnt do anything special or new in my run, so if you gave her all those you can just go ahead to Bramis Castle, and she is literally a few steps ahead from where you would fight her if u cleared all the lights

So I have her seedpod, but I don’t want to use it on her yet, as I need to give her Lightreaper’s skin which is the last bit required for her quest. Can I give kill her with the seedpod afterwards or am I locked out.

F*uck this npc hosnestly. She was never at fitzroy gorge or shrine of adyr for me and I didn't cleanse any beacons. I rushed that part to talk to her at fitzro but anyway... Now I have a useless seed I can't use and I did a useless game because I can't get the umbral ending. What a waste of time.

question: can you get her gear AND use the seedpod on her corpse for umbral ending in one playthrough ?
I would like to get the trophy for getting all weapon/armor without going in ng+ if possible

So I accidentally picked up her seedpod, but was able to give her the last piece of flesh without giving her the pod. However she just says "you're still a worthy disciple of Adyr, and Adyr be praised" she doesn't give a prompt to attempt the ritual.
Guess I'll find out if she shows up at Brahmis Castle or not to see if I've screwed this up

I have the exact same problem.
She's in two locations at once for me, both after vestige of chabui, and right before the bossfight right after the elevator in pilgim's perch, both places repeating her "There's salvation here if you want it..." She's not in Fitzroy Gorge and I haven't cleansed any beacons. Not sure what I'm missing

Here's the question, if she replaces Melchior's body in the effigy of Adyr, will Melchior's stigma still be available ? Considering you need both for two different trophies (interacting with every stigmas / completing Damarose's quest) it feels like the devs didn't put too much thoughts about the whole thing. It's even worse when you think about Adyr's stigma at his shrine being locked behind the Radiant ending, ooof

So after beating her ass in the castle.I went back to the shrine there she was laying on the ground and I could use the seedbed on her. I did and nothing happend and she just disappeare. I dont know if there should be something happening but I did not receive any item from it. (Cleansed everything and she was not at the shrine beforehand because I must have misserd her prior.)

If you kill her with the seedpod (at least in fitzroy's Gorge) she won't drop any of her gear or her weapon so be aware if you're going for the umbral ending

i dont even know how is she supposed to be in pilgrims perch? if you progress for the umbral ending you already surpassed pilgrims perch by hours when you get her seedpot, does that mean you only are able to use her seedpot when shes at the shrine of adyr since its basicly the only location where she is prior to briams castle?

this page is missing a lot of information with this NPC. if you dont clense the beacon she has a whole questline you find her after the swamp looking for the infernal flesh then at the shrine looking for "tools" from cistern. haven't made it much further myself. curious if she holds many of the missing inferno spell locations if you do her inferno ending quest line.
