Andreas of Ebb (Boss) is a Secondary Boss in Lords of the Fallen (LotF). Andreas of Ebb (Boss) first appears as an NPC and can be encountered as a boss in the Upper Calrath Plaza after he assists you against The Lightreaper. This person may not appear during Deathless One journey in Mournstead as a boss, and if it appears as a boss himb being mandatory/optional depends on main story progress in Lords of the Fallen (LOTF). Bosses are powerful enemies that add challenging experiences to the game. Defeating them grants players with rare and/or unique armaments, armor, magic, and other items. In some cases, they are required to advance the story further.

Andreas of Ebb (Boss) LOTF Fight Strategy

The Best Tips for Andreas of Ebb (Boss):

Andreas of Ebb is encountered in a narrow space after the final encounter against The Lightreaper. He wields a sword and deals a number of swift melee attacks. These can be dealt in quick combos and sequences. Certain attacks will also cause poison build-up. Because of the configuration of the arena, the most tricky part is keeping tabs on his position if you will be moving around a lot. He also uses a smoke screen to confuse players as he repositions around the small combat space. Otherwise, his actions are mainly telegraphed basic attacks that can be dodged or blocked. Certain attacks that are not blocked will result in a critical hit usually done after he deals a thrust stabbing attack.

In between his attacks, he will usually strafe with his sword pointing toward you. This will give you time to anticipate his next attack as soon the animation starts. When you defend yourself, make sure you don't immediately let your guard down in between attacks since he can deal a number of swings in a combo. Clear the fight to be able to pass.

eye of loash and any charged ugs r2 turns this pusśy into a bigger joke than his entire bloodline combined, just know when he's in his parry stance and heal accordingly

we need to wait for him to appear and be available as boss, when i went back there after killing 1st boss in brume castle he was hostile (i must add that this BS arena sucks, it's small narrow there is a sand that slows down plus camera loves to block the view) ah and i think i gave him 1 book before he dissapeared from skybridge, it might be important for him to appear there

For those who said it is optional - if u summon him as support for The Lightareaper (3rd time), he wont be the optional

Says he is a required boss which is false. I've beat the game 4 times and he was never there. I need his items.

didn't appear for me after lightreaper boss, seems like there are certain requirements for him to be there after and became a boss.. then he is OPTIONAL

This guy is very annoying for light weapons. Use anything that can be spammed and can break poise will make this dude a joke.

I believe Andreas of Ebb is an optional boss after all, as I couldn't find him and have never fought him in my playthrough, yet I am in Bramis Castle. He wasn't at the stated location near the third Lightreaper fight.
