Skinstealer is a Secondary Boss and Enemy in Lords of the Fallen (LotF). Skinstealer is an agile creature and a secondary boss that wields two Cleavers and two blades with its secondary limbs, and can be found in the Cistern. This is not an optional boss, as players need to defeat it to advance in Lords of the Fallen (LOTF). Bosses are powerful enemies that add challenging experiences to the game. Defeating them grants players with rare and/or unique armaments, armor, magic, and other items. In some cases, they are required to advance the story further.
Where to Find Skinstealer Boss in Lords of the Fallen
Skinstealer is located in the Cistern at the top of the stairs after trekking through the sewer area. Players will need to defeat it to obtain the Drainage Control Key.

Is a quick-moving creature with a cleaver weapon in both hands in addition to two more blades. It is encountered in a relatively narrow area and can charge at you fairly quickly while swinging and striking its weapon. Make sure you approach it before it backs you up against the moth gate.
You will not have room to evade too much during this encounter, but you will be able to block its attacks. Block and dodge sparingly though, so you do not run out of stamina. The Skinstealer will move and dash around the area throughout the fight. You will need to constantly circle around it for this fight to decrease the chances of getting caught in its charge attacks, dashes, and lunges. At times, it will idly stand in between actions and allow you to freely attack for a brief period. If you manage to catch these moments, try to charge up your attack or deal a heavy attack to maximize damage output during these times. It may have very quick approaches but can move slowly aside from when it lunges and dash attacks. Watch out for its enhanced attacks, at time he can also imbue his weapons with fire that will greatly add to your Ignite build up, although these attacks are not as frequent.

AnonymousParry is nutty asf for this boss but I personally couldn’t get the second attack of his big string down. So just dodge around him & R1 charged R2. With the bloodlust +5 it would stagger everytime for you to back up and reset.

some of his combos are fast enough to make it impossible to parry him and the parry or block his follow-up. he's not badly broken but it's insanely eannoying

Just spam poisoned spear on enter. It is possible to break his logic, and he will just stand and wait to die.

I found it quicker and easier to farm the one in Upper Calrath. Just past it on the way to Skyrest Bridge you can plant a seed after climbing a ladder. I can rest, jump down and fight it again, rinse and repeat.

If I wanted to watch an AI input-read this hard I'd go play SF. My brother in Christ this is a lazy design choice.

This fight sucks. I parry the dude but when I go to counter attack my character is like stuck in some iframes or something and can’t hit the dude, for my first swing. But my second can. It’s kind of bull crap your first hit after countering is just nulled
Found one as a normal enemy in Lower Calrath going up a ladder behind a door locked with the Sunless Skein key. I think the skinstealer spear that I looted nearby was already there before I killed him,but not 100% sure.

Boss glitched out in the wall near the entrance for me and just waited for death

Farmed this thing with item find consumables up for over an hour. Loot table is horrendous, mostly 0 drops and when drops DO happen it just gives runes or salt. Fix this.
The skinstealer dropped 3 times 3 severed hands (ca 50 kills) for me at sunless skein, next to the big burning tower beside the little forge, instant as he died i got them, no looting needed. I killed him mostly with my 2 handed nohuta hammer and via a grievous strike. I put umbral enchantment on my hammer, charged it, he was instant staggered and did the grievous strike from behind. Put the eyeball in the lamp were you cant be interrupted while charging an attack. I placed a seed under the tower, farmed him like 50 times and got those, i was offline the whole time. I did him the other day like 40 times and didn't get any hands, so its like a very rare drop i guess. If it needs to be online or offline, i dont know yet. When online, sometimes there is a red lamp that enpowers him and it is no pvp are, so it is a easy farm spot.
