The Best Tips for The Sacred Resonance of Tenacity:
- Recommended Spells: Inferno Spells
- Recommended Items: Holy Ward
The Sacred Resonance wields a Hammer and can deal attacks that can build up Smite and Bleed. His attacks are telegraphed and easily anticipated because of the slow movement speed of the heavy weapon. His slower heavy attacks, also mean that these are powerful attacks when hit. He can easily be parried and can be stunned by excessive attacks. Most of the time, he relies on standard one-off telegraphed melee attacks, so you will have plenty of attack windows to reposition behind him and attack or attack him head-on. His attacks can also be interrupted, so you can choose to either dodge or back away from the attack or play aggressively when he lifts his hammer. Just remember that if you decide to reposition as this attack begins, he will be able to angle himself even while his hammer is lifted. Also, be aware of your surroundings since there will be other mobs and Enemies that occupy the area.
Once he charges up his weapon with radiance, his hammer will begin to glow and his hammer strikes will now also build smite if caught in it. He can now also deal a Smite AoE attack that can radiate outwards. You'll be able to roll through this attack. This attack will also affect other monbs in the area.
As much as possible, react aggressively and use your heavier attacks on him in between his strikes and you will be able to keep him from retaliating and quickly deplete his hp this way.
The Sacred Resonance of Tenacity Attacks & Counters
Attack | Description | Counter |
Hammer Strike | A heavy melee hammer attack where he usually strikes overhead | Dodge backwards or deal a charged or heavy attack to interrupt him. |
Hammer Swing | A swing that can affect the range surrounding him and will swing to his side | Roll away from this attack. |
Divine Nova AoE | An AoE attack that sends a shockwave that expands radially. This animation begins with the Sacred Resonance of Tenacity thumping its chest before it starts to emanate. | Roll through the shockwave as it reaches you. |
Smite Hammer Swing | A hammer strike that strikes with Smite | Dodge backwards or deal a charged or heavy attack to interrupt him. |

Any one fought him after recent patch? He one shoots you even with 60 vigor . Not fun

You don't need to use the gesture to get the bucket item -- FYI

He managed to grab me while he was on the stairs above me. My character clipped into the ground and fell to his death near the blood pool room where I resurrected. I ran back to the boss and stepped through the mothgate again (no resting in between), and he was back at full health FML. No parasite thingie though.

Again this guide has no mention of the gesture or how it's obtained. Been there before and only a chest was there with a armour set. That was it, was shorty after meeting the hooded figure telling me not to cleanse . Went abit further and fought this mini boss using a mace. After getting the throwing knife and going opposite way up the ladder I found a door to open. Nothing but the chest? This guide is no unorganized but great for reference meterial. But the walk through tells one nothing about how to get to the next areas. It just says next Fin fex or whatever and nothing of optional Quests of which 2 were not mentioned or how to go about them on your journey through skyrest bridge. Does anyone have a lotf guide that stays organized and on yrack. The prev wiki for Eldin Ring, bloodbourn and DS 1,2 abd 3 were top notch. This one is a mess to follow. Is it the game?

Pretty much just a reskin of a Holy Bulwark due to using the same move set though with the one difference being that he has an AOE effect that's used when the hammer is enchanted though attack can be dodged.

I like his silly AOE when he bangs his hammer on his head.

I just want a boss that is fun and doesn't have their arena packed to the brim with bullshit.

very easy boss... pop the parasites with lantern -> run around and lure the boss to the backside -> kill all ranged -> confront boss -> wait for the well telegraphed attack -> roll back -> loaded heavy attack -> roll back -> replenish Stamina -> repeat

Found this guy on accident. No heals and in umbal. A health bar appeared and I nearly **** myself. I survived off of briostone, snake oil grenades, and dagger pokes. If I can do it, you can too.

can be poisoned with acceptable results, smite resistance seems high, unsure about bleed
